HEALER PRACTITIONER TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT COURSE

The Healer Practitioner Course is suitable for people who have little or no experience of Healing.

Studied over a two year period, this course will support the personal spiritual growth of the student as they develop as a channel for healing energies.  Furthermore, the student will gain the level of knowledge, skills and experience required to attain Registered Healer Status.  It is the intention of The National Healers Association  that all of our members have trained to the highest standards of competence.

 Our Healer Practitioner training course is fully accredited by UK Healers and meets the UK National Occupational Standards for Healing.   Successful completion of the course allows graduates to register with The Complementary National Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapies (GRCCT)  as a Registered Healing Professional.   

 

The course is studied over a two year period.  There are 6 practice weekends ( 3 per year)  and fortnightly  online student support and study sessions , these are currently on a Wednesday evening 7.00 pm - 9.00 pm.  Students are required to attend all of the weekends and sessions,  as these hands-on healing practice and development activities, form an essential part of the assessment criteria.

 Professional Healer Tutors 

 Throughout the course students  will be guided by an experienced Professional Healer Tutor who will oversee, support and advise on all aspects of  training and development.   

 

 

Subjects studied will include:

UNIT 1:  Membership Criteria,  Student Healer Assessment, Recording Evidence of Personal and Spiritual Development.  The Healer, Spiritual Healing,  Conscious Breathing, The Concept of Oneness, Attunement of Self, Healer as channel only, Preparation for Healing: Relaxation. Meditation, Protection,  Permission ,Grounding, Distant Healing.  How to Set Out the Log Book. The Chakras.  Understanding the Invisible Bodies.  The Polarity Channels of the Etheric Body., Healer/Patient Relationship, The Patient Record Card, Developing Plans for Healing, Communication Skills, How to Open and Close A Healing Session. Method of Attunement to Source, Healing on the Chair.  The Healing Act.  The Code of Conduct

 

UNIT 2:  Meditation, Visualisation. Relaxation, Healing and the law,     Relationship to the Medical Profession and other Health Care Professionals,  Health and Safety, The Professional Healing environment,  Administration, Record keeping,  Malpractice and Public Liability,  Disciplinary Policy and Complaints Procedure, The Power of Thought, Re-creating our Reality, Affirmations.  The origins and development of Healing.  

 

 

 

UNIT 3:  Anatomy and Physiology, Healing On a Couch, The Temple of the Soul, Body Wisdom and the Causes of Ill Health, The Effects of Stress, Managing Stress, Healing Your Inner Child.  Self-Healing Techniques.

 

UNIT 4:  Advanced Meditation and Visualisation,  Healing With Sound Vibration, Healing with  Colour, Healing With Crystals, Healing into Death and Dying, Past lives, Karma, Reincarnation,  Science, Spirituality and Healing, Continuing Professional Development

 

The Healer Practitioner Training and Development Course is studied part-time over a two year period.  Attendance of the practice weekends and student support sessions is essential.

The course is a part-taught, part self-study programme for those who wish to become fully qualified Healers. Successful students will be awarded The National Healers Association Certificate in Spiritual and Energy Healing.

 

Courses commence:  26th September at Dartington Hall Estate.

Cost:  Each weekend costs £140 and Includes all course materials.  The fortnightly online support sessions are £10.  An initial deposit of £40 is required to secure your place, this is deducted from the cost of the first weekend of training.  

Note that this is a non-residential course. However, there are plenty of rooms available at Dartington Hall as well as Local B&B and hotel accommodation in Dartington village, Totnes, Exeter and Bath at reasonable rates.
